The EU Gold Reserve is just over 10,000 tonnes of gold. (USA has 8,000 tonnes). The EU Gold Reserve is about 5% of the total gold ever mined. The nations of the European Union have a Gold Reserve worth about $150 billion. The EURO money is 93% fiat, and 7% backed by gold.
